Only a quick update today. Last weekend me and my dad spent Saturday and Sunday down the allotment building a new cold frame. It took a day and a bit to put together and the best bit, all the materials were recycled. So without further ado, I present to you the new cold frame.

First we had to check everything would fit together.

The back of the cold frame in place. The windows are cable tied to the posts.

The front and sides are secured in with posts and screwed together to make the whole thing more sturdy. The windows on the top can be lifted out and moved around depending on the weather and what’s growing in there.
