Looking back at 2014

This year I have taken on another plot while giving up my two smaller ones (although I’ve still got these until it comes to renewal in April). It’s been hard work to get the new plot into shape and as such the older plots have suffered. However that isn’t to say I haven’t had a successful year. I’ve had tomatoes coming out of my ears, potatoes in the ground until October (due to careful planning), and for the first time ever parsnips and butternut squash. I have had some failures though. My strawberries, carrots and beetroot were eaten by mice, and the brassicas didn’t get going. Shame really as I was hoping for some sprouts on Christmas day.

I’m going to let the pictures do the talking.
